Roots & Beats
A journey shaped by rhythm, resilience, and reinvention
I was born in Esparza, Puntarenas, Costa Rica — a coastal town where rhythm often comes from the ocean before it comes from speakers. Long before I understood what DJing meant, I was recording songs from the radio onto cassette tapes, unknowingly building the foundation of what would later become my identity.
Technology and music grew side by side in my life. While I pursued Electronic Engineering and built a professional career in tech, music remained my constant escape — the place where I felt most aligned with myself.
Eventually, the pressure of that path forced me to pause. Burnout became a turning point rather than an ending. I chose to rebuild — not just professionally, but personally. I reconnected with my purpose, refined my craft, and stepped back into music with clarity and discipline.
A transformative chapter in Ireland expanded my perspective, both as an artist and as a person. Living abroad, adapting to new cultures, and performing in unfamiliar environments strengthened my confidence and deepened my sound.
Today, back in Costa Rica, I continue this project with intention. My music reflects that evolution — hypnotic, emotional, moving between warmth and darkness — shaped by every stage of the journey that brought me here.
